If one expect this movie to be milestone and expect that it is something beyond their expectations , then he would be wrong .
The movie was not that good as I expected it to be. Thugs of hindustan is the story of some thugs who fought against the britons and wanted to create the spirit of freedom among the local populace.
The movie can be described in followng points-
- Thugs of Hindustan start somewhere in India where Ronit Roy is king of a state and don't want to sign an accord which britishers want him to sign. His whole family get killed by britishers. His daughter (Fatima sana Sheikh) seeks revenge for her family death . She get saved by Amitabh. They fight throughout the movie and in the end kill the villian.
- Every Sequence in which amitabh was there has created an impact. His entry was iconic , his fighting skills were to good. In short Amit Ji has done really appreciating work.
- If somebody is going to watch it for Katrina’s acting skills then my friend, don’t go , she has done nothing in the movie except showing off.
- If somebody is going to watch it to see Katrina only, then my friend , go for it. ( Mazaa Aaegi)
- Fatima’s acting was too awkward at some points. She was not that badass as someone who is seeking revenge.
- Now, here comes Aamir khan part. He tried his best to be Jack Sparrow, But he was nowhere near the hollybood icon. Or It’s just that he didn’t tried to be like Johnny Depp at all. It us who are connecting his role with Pirates of Carribean.
- Now, Here is this Movie about thugs and not a single forgery is shown. I mean We are watching a story about Company rule dacoits and we saw nothing of Loots. *AREY,* atleast show some love for money and gold. Naxals did much better in Sarfarsosh. Atleast show something why they were called thugs and what they were famous for.
- Movie was more like “Freedom fighter of Hindustan” instead of Thugs of hindustan. Aamir Khan was shown as changing sides like chameleon change its colour.
- The Villian was not scary at all.
- The movie was predictable at some point and Directors extended movie time beyond requirement.
- Amitabh and Katrina’s Screen time was short. If Amitabh would had been given more time on the screen , he would had sidelined Aamir Khan’ role.
- No Songs were required at all.
- I didn't went to watch “Kranti once again”.
- All i can say that it was a one time watch or can be avoided.
